Recover, rebuild or create?
The current state of your item of furniture will most likely determine whether it needs a simple recover or a more comprehensive rebuilding or repairing. We are able to undertake basic woodwork and repairs which will be discussed and agreed at the outset. Otherwise, more complicated repairs can be arranged with our trusted restorers.
Please get in touch if you are interested in designing a piece of furniture from scratch, eg a headboard, and we can help bring your ideas to life along with the help of professional carpenters.
The process
Once you have agreed our quote, we can help you decide on a suitable fabric for the job and then order it for you. When your item is in the workshop, it will be stripped and assessed. Any surprises will be discussed and agreed with you before work is undertaken. You will remain informed throughout the process.
Lead times are currently 6-8 weeks and we require 50% of the quote to secure your place on the workshop list.
Fabrics, fillings and trims
We work with a wide-range of excellent fabric companies to ensure you have an wide choice of options for your piece of furniture. We can advise on colour, style, suitability and durability, as well as helping you narrow down the details, like which trim or studs to go for.
